The school week shouldn't have to be carried in your head

I'm Sam. I keep track of tests, homework and submissions, split the studying into manageable pieces and remind at the right time — so you can be a family instead of a calendar. Don't worry, I never judge.

Tests, homework, submissions — and an adult who ends up nagging

When should you start, how much, and how do you even get going? For many families, the last years of compulsory school become a constant scramble to hold it all together. It often lands on one adult who ends up nagging, and a child who ends up with a guilty conscience. tilsam is built for those weeks — and especially for families where school takes extra energy, such as with neurodevelopmental conditions (NPF), ADHD and autism.

How it works

1
Describe it in your own words. Type, dictate or paste the teacher's message — even a whole term plan in one go. Sam reads it and suggests; you review and confirm.
2
Counts backwards. From every deadline, so nothing arrives as a surprise the night before.
3
Splits it into manageable sessions. Short sessions with air in between. Spaced practice beats cramming — and the calendar never fills up.
4
Reminds at the right time. Strictly rationed, quiet at night and during school. Weekends and breaks are rest days — the app plans nothing and doesn't ping.
One picture everyone shares

The same calm picture — for the child, the adults and the teacher

The child's whole circle sees the same plan and the same log, even across two homes. No more "I didn't know there was a test". Status, not judgement — never a wall of red, no streaks that punish a pause.

And the goal is for the child to take over: the student practises planning with support, and the support can be faded out. Training wheels, made to come off.

For the child
A plan of their own in small, doable steps, with calm reminders at the right time. Nothing to keep track of in their head.
For the adult
See how things stand without having to ask — and stop being the only one keeping track.
For you, on your own
You don't need an adult at the other end. A student, or just keen on some order? Works just as well on your own.

Add your class's term plan once — families get it as suggestions

As a mentor you paste in the term plan, review and publish. Each family confirms it themselves in the app. And you can never see any student's plan, answers or data — that boundary is built into the system, not a setting.

1 · Paste — the term plan is read line by line, never guessed.
2 · Review & publish — lines missing something are flagged calmly.
3 · The family confirms — suggestions, never automation. The link can be revoked at any time.

Three promises — built into the code, not into a policy

Rest is protected.
Weekends and breaks are never planned and never pinged. There isn't even a button for exceptions.
The AI never decides.
It helps read what you write and suggests — a human confirms everything. Whether and when a reminder is sent is decided by a separate, tested core.
Data stays in the EU.
Storage and AI in Stockholm. No health data, no ads, no data ever sold.

Why tilsam exists

Built by a family who needed it

The idea was born in our home. In our family and the people close to us, we've seen how heavy school can get — everything from not getting started, to worry and periods of staying home from school. We built tilsam because we needed it ourselves.

"Made by people who struggle with the same things — not by a company guessing. That's why we care about the small things."

The app is free right now — no hidden costs, no ads. More about us →
